Graduate researcher will assist with nationwide performing arts education project
We are thrilled to welcome Bingxin (Bing) Fa to the Convos family.
Bing is joining the staff to fill a newly created graduate research assistant position. She will play an essential role in helping to organize and analyze the data collected through our nationwide performing arts research project on My Father’s Dragon and will assist with publishing the research findings.
Bing is a doctoral student in political science with a minor in statistics and her past projects include studying how large-scale activities shape people’s perception of the world. Her skills align well with the goals Dr. Amanda Mayes is working toward- having the arts be a required part of every student’s K-12 and collegiate education experience by proving the value of exposure to the arts.
The graduate research assistant position provides me with an invaluable opportunity to use my knowledge to serve the local and national community. I am proud to be a part of this team which is committed to building a better future for our children. –Bing Fa
