24/25 SEASON LAUNCH - JUNE 26

Curricular Connections

Purdue Convocations is a multi-disciplinary performing arts presenting organization housed on the West Lafayette campus of Purdue University. Initiated in 1902, it is among the oldest collegiate arts presenters in the United States and has served generations of Purdue students, faculty, staff, and community members by bringing professional, world-class talent to campus for an audience that averages 60,000 patrons annually.

For students at Purdue University, the Curricular Connections program integrates Purdue Convocations visiting artists into Purdue classrooms through artist residencies, master classes in specialized fields and the opportunity for students across the campus to attend performances with a $15-20 subsidized ticket when faculty members connect performances to the curriculum. In 2022-2023, over 9,800 Purdue and Ivy Tech students attended performances with subsidized tickets and had an assignment, or an in-class discussion, about the performance. In addition, 194 students participated in master classes or artist residencies in their classrooms. These opportunities provide an important cultural enhancement to the curriculum in a wide variety of subject areas.

Faculty members simply fill out the form below and you will receive a promo code for your students to purchase tickets online.
