Graphic Design Intern
The primary role of the graphic design intern position is providing graphic design, video editing, videography and photography support to the Purdue Convocations Marketing Department. The goal of this position is to give students valuable real-world experience in a professional in-house design environment. The graphic design intern position should work 10-12 hours per week during the current semester. Those hours may be worked in any combination, at the discretion of the direct supervisor. The graphic design intern position must be reliable, organized, responsible, and flexible. They must also be ambitious, detail-oriented, creative, and driven.
Social Media Intern
The primary role of the Student Social Media Intern position is to assist in the planning, creating, scheduling, and posting of various digital content for the purpose of promoting Purdue Convocations performances and events. The goal of this position is to give students valuable real-world experience in professional performing arts marketing. The Student Social Media Intern should work 20 hours per week during the current semester. Those hours may be worked in any combination, at the discretion of the direct supervisor. The Student Social Media Intern must be reliable, organized, responsible, and flexible. They must also be ambitious, detail-oriented, creative, and driven.
Senior Brand Ambassador
The primary role of the Senior Brand Ambassador Intern is to serve as a dynamic representative of the Purdue Convocations brand to Purdue campus and Greater Lafayette communities and serve as a marketing liaison for the marketing team. The goal of this position is to give students valuable real-world experience in a professional performing arts marketing environment. The Senior Brand Ambassador position should work an average of 15 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters. Class schedule must be provided and some evenings and weekends may be required, at the discretion of the direct supervisor. The Senior Brand Ambassador Intern must be reliable, organized, responsible, and flexible. They must also be ambitious, detail-oriented, creative, and driven.
Graduate Professional
The Graduate Professional works under the direct supervision of the Director of Marketing, focused on group sales, sponsorship, and donor engagement. They will research opportunities, develop communication plans, coordinate presentations, provide customer support, and organize donor events. Other opportunities for growth include working with experienced professionals involved in group sales, audience development, customer service, event management, public relations, fundraising, and finance. Such training will give the Graduate Professional experience in management, marketing, advertising, publicity, public relations, student activities, financial budgeting and management, and arts administration. This position is a 9-month, half-time position, from August 14, 2023 – May 12, 2024. It is preferred that candidates commit to the position for two years.

Engagement Intern
The engagement intern will support the Manager of Engagement with donor event management, donor research and segmentation, enhancement of donor stewardship programs, developing donor communications, and assisting with donor outreach.

Partnership Development Intern
The partnership development intern will support the Director of Marketing with research and identification of group sales opportunities and prospective sponsorship partners in the Purdue and Greater Lafayette communities, develop and implement a communications plan to engage with community partners and facilitate sponsorships and group sales, track and manage group sales leads, and provide customer support to group buyers.

Purdue Convocations is a multi-disciplinary performing arts presenting organization based at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
