Get to Know Yi-Nuo Wang

Meet Concert Artist Guild’s classical pianist Yi-Nuo Wang. From schools in different continents, apprenticeships with cellist Andres Diaz and the Escher String Quartet, and performing in chamber concerts, Wang is no normal pianist. At only 22 years old, she has a very rich background in the music industry. 

  1. Yi-Nuo Wang was born in Beijing, China. She began playing the piano at only 4 years old. 
  2. She has performed in China, throughout Asia, Europe and the United States. 
  3. During elementary and secondary schools she studied music at the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) in Beijing.
  4. Wang was awarded a full scholarship from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas to earn her Performer’s Diploma. 
  5. She is a current student, under the study of Dr. Robert McDonald at the Julliard School of Music in New York.
