P-12 Student Matinees

Convocations continues to offer opportunities for P-12 students and collegiate students to experience the performing arts. In 2011-12, Convocations served 4,910 school age students and provided ticket & transportation scholarships of to 2,799 of those students. To date for the 2012-13 Season, we have served 3,975 students, already 80% of last year’s activity. We plan to provide $13,315 in scholarships to P-12 students for 2012-2013 Season. Convocations also has a volunteer core of 300+ college students called the Convocations Voice Network (CVN). CVN and the Purdue Student Concert Committee have already volunteered more than 2,000 hours of their time for the 2012-2013 season!
