Celebrating Our Graduating Interns

Evan Olinger (Graphic Design)

Evan has been working with Convos for two years, having started his internship in August of 2022. His responsibilities have included creating posters, digital programs, and social media graphics to promote upcoming shows and events.

Evan majored in Visual Communication Design with a minor in Art History and Design & Innovation. After graduating this May, he will begin a graphic-design job and live in Lafayette with his fiancée.

“My favorite part about interning at Convos has been working alongside a group of such kind, funny, and authentic people. I love getting to design awesome stuff all day, but it would not have been nearly as rewarding or enjoyable without all of the friends I have made while working here.”

Evan’s favorite Convos shows were Noah Kahan’s sold out show at Elliott Hall of Music and dance/piano duo Counterpoint.

Izzy Sautter (Social Media)

Izzy has been working with Convos for two years, starting her internship in August of 2022. Her responsibilities have included scheduling posts across our social media platforms, writing blog posts, and capturing photos and videos.

Izzy double majored in Communication and Political Science, with concentrations in Mass Communication & Media and Public Relations. After graduating this May, she plans on moving to a big city to continue working in the marketing world.

“There’s so many things I love about working at Convos. I’ve gotten incredible pre-professional experience, seen amazing shows, and met the best people! My internship with Convos has truly been one of the highlights of my college career.”

Izzy’s favorite Convos shows were Noah Kahan, The Book of Mormon, and The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart.

Kyndahl Bishop (Brand Ambassador)

Kyndahl started her internship with Convos in September of 2023. Her responsibilities have included working on group sales, maintaining brand partnerships, and delivering our brochures.

Kyndahl majored in Applied Statistics with a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. After graduating this May, she plans on spending the summer at home in Delaware before moving to Chicago and working in marketing statistics or data analytics.

“What’s not to love about Convos? This has been the most welcoming team I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. I have been able to see performances that I never could have imagined seeing and got to meet some of my favorite people. Convos gave me a strong sense of belonging and I will always cherish my memories with them.”

Kyndahl’s favorite Convos shows were Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Live in Concert, Briscoe, and Peach Pit! 

Simay Savas (Marketing Analyst)

Simay started her internship with Convos in January of 2024 and has been involved with Purdue Convocations Volunteer Network (CVN) since 2021, serving as the Vice President this school year. As an intern, her responsibilities have included creating and analyzing marketing reports to gather and understand our sales data.

SImay majored in Psychology and Cultural Anthropology with minors in Sociology and Design & Innovation.

“I grew up overseas where I was not exposed to American culture. Working and volunteering with Convos created a safe environment for me to learn and explore American culture not only with their events but through their friendships as well. Being a part of the Convos family also helped me grow my professional and personal skills.”

Simay’s favorite Convos show was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
