A Toast on New Year’s Day

The Student Concert Committee would like to invite the students of Purdue to take a more active role in choosing the musicians that come to campus. Our Facebook, Twitter and blog will be used to hear the voice of the student body in relation to the musicians that perform on campus. Not only do we hope that students can become more involved with our organization, but we also hope to create a place in which music is passionately discussed, shared, and listened to.

Every week will have a few structured blog posts and a few that will depend on the feedback we receive or the musicians that are coming to campus. Mondays will be Member of the Week, Thursdays will be Song of the Week, and Saturdays will be up for discussion (highlighting a specific artist we’ve discovered, industry facts, etc.). Once we announce our upcoming shows, and we have some pretty killer ones booked for next semester, we will also post artist facts once a week.
