Grammy award-winning rock band Soul Asylum brings an acoustic performance featuring Dave Pirner and Ryan Smith to Purdue University’s Loeb Playhouse on Friday, April 10, 2026. Special guest Corey Glover, best known as the powerhouse lead vocalist of the Grammy-winning rock band Living Colour (“Cult of Personality”), will join Soul Asylum in support. Purdue Convocations present this intimate, one-of-a-kind acoustic set with support from Union Club Hotel, 8Eleven Modern Bistro, Mad Mushroom Pizza, and Ripple & Co.

For the past 43 years, Yellowjackets has built a reputation as one of jazz’s most influential groups. Through sold-out tours, critical and commercial success, and numerous lineup changes, the powerhouse trio’s career spans 26 albums and 16 Grammy® nominations.
