Noah Kahan to perform at Purdue March 25

Purdue Student Concert Committee and Purdue Convocations will present Noah Kahan at Purdue University’s Elliott Hall of Music on March 25, 2023. After selling out two dates this year in Indianapolis, the folk-infused pop artist from Vermont will bring his “Stick Season” tour to the West Lafayette campus.

Noah Kahan to perform at Purdue

Through his journey from small town Vermont to global renown, Noah Kahan has racked up over one billion streams, released two full length albums (“Busyhead,” 2019 and “I Was / I Am,” 2021) and a mid-pandemic EP (“Cape Elizabeth,” 2020). Kahan’s 2022 hit single “Stick Season” is rife with fluttering guitar melodies, inviting vocals, and homey imagery of the Northeast on the verge of a change of seasons.

About Purdue Student Concert Committee

Purdue Student Concert Committee (SCC) consists of 16 students that have been selected through an application and interview process to advise Purdue Convocations about popular entertainment selections for Purdue students on the West Lafayette campus. Student members experience the equivalent of an internship in the entertainment industry.

SCC aids in selecting, marketing, promoting and producing national commercial entertainment acts that perform for the student body. The mission of SCC is to positively impact live concert and event culture at Purdue University by bringing a diverse array of large scale and small scale concert events to campus each school year. Visit dev-convocations.pantheonsite.io/scc/archive to view a comprehensive list of the artists that SCC has brought to Purdue’s campus during the past 40 years. Each year, the committee selects eight new members to replace outgoing members who have completed a two-year term. After a one-year general membership, the students are expected to take a

leadership and mentoring role on the committee. The Student Concert Committee is supported largely in part by the Student Fee Advisory Board (SFAB). Visit dev-convocations.pantheonsite.io/scc for more information.
