West Lafayette Global Fest Care Package

In 2015, Purdue Convocations joined the organizing committee for the long-running Global Fest presented by the City of West Lafayette/WL Parks & Recreation, alongside the International Center of West Lafayette, and a huge cadre of committed volunteers. Since that time, Global Fest has grown into a premiere street festival that simultaneously celebrates the diverse cultures that comprise our community and articulates our welcome to those that live and study here, all alongside an accompanying federal Naturalization & Immigration Ceremony. After the success of the 2019 event, which included additional performance stages, world-class talent, the new International Night Market, and lots of sunshine, we had big plans for the 2020 Global Fest–which would have been our 25th anniversary.

Of course, hosting a large-scale street festival with music, food and culture is not possible this fall, but we know that our community’s commitment to the festival and the ideals it animates has not diminished at all. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. To answer that call, the Global Fest team has worked hard to design a new solution just for you: The West Lafayette Global Fest Care Package brings the spirit of Global Fest directly to your home. And importantly, by celebrating this amazing program, you’ll also support the return and growth of Global Fest in the future.
