The Bang on a Can All-Stars have collaborated with and performed the music of fellow New Yorkers Philip Glass and Steve Reich for more than 30 years. Now, as a tribute to these living legends—and their upcoming 90th birthdays—the All-Stars are presenting landmark works by the pair on tour.

Released by Philip Glass in 1982, Glassworks is among his most successful and most-loved albums, but Glass has never performed the complete work live with his touring ensemble. In this concert, the All-Stars will perform a brand-new arrangement of Glassworks in its entirety, alongside Reich’s acclaimed rock quintet 2×5 and New York Counterpoint, in honor of these two legendary composers and their birthday milestones.
