Join The Isaiah J. Thompson Quartet for an extraordinary evening of jazz at Purdue’s Loeb Playhouse on October 12, 2024. Led by award-winning pianist Isaiah J. Thompson, the quartet features David Alvarez III on drums, Julian Lee on saxophone, and Sebastian Rios on bass. Together, they bring a dynamic, soulful performance that blends jazz tradition with innovation. Don’t miss this unforgettable night of piano, bass, drums, and sax!

The musical that celebrates the iconic life and legacy of Tina Turner continues to woo audiences around the world. Casting has been announced for an all-new North American tour of the joyful and triumphant Broadway smash hit TINA – The Tina Turner Musical.

Crossroads Live North America and Purdue Convocations announce the cast for the new North American tour of “Dear Evan Hansen,” running over 30 weeks in the 2024-2025 season, with a one-night performance at Purdue’s Elliott Hall on September 25, 2024. The cast includes Michael Fabisch as Evan Hansen. Tickets are on sale now.

Purdue University President Mung Chiang and Purdue Convocations will host an exclusive free Presidential Lecture Series event featuring cellist Yo-Yo Ma on September 29, 2PM, at Elliott Hall of Music, moderated by PBS NewsHour’s Jeffrey Brown. The event explores culture’s role in society through stories and musical interludes. Due to high demand, additional tickets for this and other 2024-2025 Purdue Convocations events will be available starting August 26.

The 2024-2025 Convos Season includes the 29th West Lafayette Global Fest, award-winning jazz and chamber musicians, a curricular integration theatre residency, thought-provoking lectures, family-friendly engagements, and award-winning Broadway musicals and major attractions in Elliott Hall of Music including Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Live in Concert, Dear Evan Hansen, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, Hadestown, Pretty Woman: The Musical, and Chicago.

Evan, Izzy, Kyndahl, and Simay have been wonderful interns. We are so proud of them and can’t wait to see what they do next!
