Todd Wetzel named Assistant Vice Provost for Student Life
West Lafayette, IN – Dr. Beth McCuskey, Vice Provost for Student Life has announced that, after a successfully completed search, Todd Wetzel has been named Assistant Vice-Provost for Student Life at Purdue University. In this role, Todd will continue to oversee Purdue Convocations, while adding the Purdue Memorial Union, Student Activities and Organizations, and the Hall of Music Productions to his responsibilities. Todd will focus on the energy of “people, place, and program” as he works to build synergies across these four organizations.
He began his Purdue career in 1997 in Purdue Convocations, becoming Director of the department in 1999. Prior to his Purdue career, he served as Director of the Valparaiso University Center for the Arts. He currently serves as Executive Board member & Treasurer of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals, and has served on grant panels for the National Endowment for the Arts, the Indiana Arts Commission, and other granting agencies. He holds a B.A. in Music Enterprises from Valparaiso University and an M.B.A. from Purdue’s Krannert School of Management.
