Ax and the Hatchetmen are a six-piece indie rock band from Chicago led by Axel Ellis. With energetic shows and horn-driven sound, they’ve grown since 2018 and released new music on Arista Records, including their Constant Change EP featuring Albert Hammond Jr. They’ll bring their high-energy performance to Loeb Playhouse at Purdue on April 8, 2026.

Magdalena Bay is a Los Angeles–based pop duo formed by Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, blending sharp pop songwriting, immersive visuals, and a forward-looking sense of nostalgia into a distinctly modern, internet-native sound. They will be coming to Elliott Hall of Music on April 23, 2026.
