Grace for President

Grades: 1-5

When Grace’s teacher reveals that the U.S. has never had a female president, Grace asks, “Where are the girls?” Smart, precocious and tuneful, Grace decides to run for class president while questioning the lack of women in the Oval Office in this family-friendly musical produced by Casa Mañana Theatre. 

A diverse, adult cast plays Grace and her classmates as they learn about presidents and what it takes to be a leader, whether of the free world or in their elementary school. It only takes a spark of inspiration to begin the journey of someday sitting in the White House, imagined with catchy songs and energetic performances.
