MEET OUR GRADUATING INTERNS!
Caitlin Ashby (Production)
Caitlin has been working with Convos for two years, having started her internship in August of 2023. Her responsibilities have included planning production logistics for visiting artists, coordinating with touring production teams, and supporting event execution through hospitality, transportation, setup/teardown, and day-of artist support.
Caitlin double majored in Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences and Human Services. She also double minored in Human Rights Studies and Psychology. After graduating this weekend, she’s eager to make her mark on the music industry—working behind the scenes with artists and venues in a big city, turning her passion into a career.
“A key takeaway from my internship with Purdue Convocations has been the importance of collaboration. Every staff member plays a vital role in creating a seamless experience for both performers and audiences. It’s been a joy to work with Convos for the past two years, and I’m forever grateful”
Caitlin’s favorite Convos show was Global Fest 2024, featuring artists like Yemen Blues and Bia Ferreira.
Jonah Peterson (Production)
Jonah has been working with Convos for two years, starting his internship in August of 2023. His responsibilities have included planning production logistics for visiting artists, coordinating with touring production teams, and supporting event execution through hospitality, transportation, setup/teardown, and day-of artist support.
Jonah majored in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. After graduating this weekend, he will be working as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.
“Always introduce yourself and greet others with a smile; you never know who you’ll meet or where that connection may take you. I’ve also come to understand the true value of the arts to humanity and will carry this throughout my life.”
Jonah’s favorite Convos show was Peach Pit. As a longtime fan of the band, he enjoyed chatting and spending most of the day with the band members leading up to their performance.
Alivia Davis (Brand Ambassador)
Alivia Davis started her internship with Convos in August of 2024. Her responsibilities have included working on group sales, maintaining brand partnerships, and delivering our brochures.
Alivia double majored in Selling & Sales Management and Retail Management with a minor in Communications. After graduating this weekend, she will be moving to Louisville with her new husband after their wedding this summer.
“Hard work truly pays off. Watching the dedication and behind-the-scenes effort that the Convos team puts into every show is nothing short of inspiring.”
Alivia’s favorite Convos shows was Jesse Murph’s nearly sold-out concert, whose performance at Elliott Hall of Music marked her biggest show to date at the time.
Jared Cain (Social Media)
Jared started his internship with Convos in August of 2024 and has been involved with Purdue Convocations Volunteer Network (CVN) since 2021, serving as the President this school year. As an intern, his responsibilities have included scheduling posts across our social media platforms, writing blog posts, and capturing photos and videos.
Jared double majored in Business & Interpersonal Communication and Criminological Sociology. After graduating this weekend, he will be working at Bendix Woods County Park as a Park Ranger and Maintenance Technician.

Jared’s favorite Convos show was Noah Kahan’s sold-out performance, where he had the unforgettable experience of ushering through CVN.
Congratulations to Zoe Whitehead (Partnership Development) on her graduation this fall! This August, Zoe will take the next “bold step “giant leap” in her academic journey as she begins her Master of Arts in Student Administration at Ball State University.
Caitlin, Jonah, Alivia, Jared, and Zoe have been wonderful interns. We are so proud of them and can’t wait to see what they do next!
