Ax and the Hatchetmen are a six-piece indie rock band from Chicago led by Axel Ellis (star of Amazon Prime’s The Runarounds). With energetic shows and horn-driven sound, they’ve grown since 2018 and released new music on Arista Records, including their Constant Change EP featuring Albert Hammond Jr. They’ll bring their high-energy performance to Loeb Playhouse at Purdue on April 8, 2026.
