3 Creatures You’ll Meet in Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure

Actors in costumes perform on stage with a large, open-mouthed dragon puppet looming over them, resembling the awe-inspiring creatures from Erth's Prehistoric Aquarium, while children in helmets react dramatically under bright lights against a dark background.

There’s no feeling like watching schools of fish swim over your head in an aquarium. Can you imagine being in the sea, swimming alongside them? On February 9th, the immersive puppetry in Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure allows you and your family to do just that! Here are 3 of the creatures you’ll meet during the show:

1. Moon Jellyfish: These ancient fish were known to be bioluminescent. This means that a chemical reaction in their bodies helps the fish produce light to communicate underwater.

Five glowing jellyfish in shades of blue, green, and purple float against a dark background, their translucent bodies and tentacles illuminated by colorful light—like a prehistoric aquarium from Erth's Adventure.

2. Koronosaurus: This creature was a known predator. Their paddle-like fins were used to swim quickly and attack prey!

A large, realistic sea creature puppet from Erth's Prehistoric Aquarium looms over stage performers dressed in dark clothing, under dramatic blue and purple lighting, bringing ancient creatures thrillingly to life.

3. Angler Fish: Third is a fish you might have seen before. Remember the angler fish in Finding Nemo? These fish live almost a mile underwater where it’s very dark. Their bodies produce light to lure prey right to their mouths.

In Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium, a person operates a large, detailed anglerfish puppet on stage. The glowing lure and wide open mouth of this deep-sea creature mesmerize as the person points toward it in the dark theater setting.
