The six-piece indie rock band from Chicago\, led by singer and guitarist Axel Ellis (star of Amazon Prime’s The Runarounds)\, have been headlining tours and releasing music since 2018. Rounding out the rest of the band are the Hatchetmen- made up of Salvatore Defilippis on guitar\, Hunter Olshefke on bass\, Nick Deputy on drums\, Phil Pistone on trumpet and Quinn Dolan on saxophone. \n\n\n\nThe group have released multiple singles and EPs since signing with Arista Records in 2023\, including their latest collection\, the “Constant Change” EP which features Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes on the single “Blurry Lights”. While mainly opting for covers and crowd favorites\, the band’s chemistry was clear and they quickly became a regular act on the weekend show bills. Now (just two band name changes later)\, they have released their first studio-recorded EP which is available to stream on most platforms\, as well as for purchase on this site. \n\n\n\nTheir cohesion as musicians only became stronger once they began writing\, and was the pillar to their writing process.
